David serves as General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer, and as a Managing Director for ABR Capital Partners. David has spent nearly twenty-five years practicing commercial real estate law. He joined ABR in 2004 as Assistant General Counsel and has served as General Counsel since 2008. David has represented ABR in the acquisition, financing and disposition of real estate valued at over $2.5 billion. Prior to ABR, David practiced law with Vinson & Elkins in Dallas, Texas. David received his BA from Union College and his JD from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law. He is licensed to practice law in Maryland and Texas (inactive). In addition to his professional activities, David serves on the Board of Directors for Bikemore.
