The
2005 Fund. The ABR Chesapeake Fund III
(the “2005 Fund”) raised
$254.825 million, exceeding
its capital target. The 2005 Fund is currently investing its capital and assembling its portfolio of properties.
The
2005 Fund represents ABR's sixth commingled real
estate investment fund, the third with the comprehensive
structure which consolidates, in a single portfolio
of properties, the investment capital of ABR,
its shareholders and ABR's taxable and tax-exempt
investors.
The
2005 Fund has been structured to:

Make value-added investments in
mid-size properties, in joint venture with local
partners
•
Address the different tax requirements
and objectives of both taxable and tax-exempt
investors
•
Provide
clients with an opportunity to co-invest with
ABR in a portfolio of properties that offers product
type and geographic diversity
